Princess Leonor continues her extensive journey, this time visiting Uruguay. After spending a few days there, the most exciting—and slightly risky—part of her trip lies ahead: sailing through the Strait of Magellan.
As expected, Leonor made the most of her time in Uruguay by attending numerous official events, as previously reported by RoyalFamily.News.
Additionally, during her visit, the future queen dismissed rumors of a possible boyfriend. It all began a few days ago, when photos surfaced of the princess with a companion during her trip aboard the Elcano, sparking speculation in the Spanish press about a new boyfriend. Now, another photo has surfaced—this time from Uruguay.
Princess Leonor partying in Uruguay
The princess and her 76 companions spent four days in Montevideo. According to an unpublished photo shared by the Navy on social media, it seems they had plenty of time to enjoy themselves.
The photo shows a nighttime group pose in a garden adorned with palm trees and lights, creating a festive atmosphere. However, it wasn’t all partying.
During their stay, they also participated in cultural, social, and military activities—even attending a Uruguayan tango show.
According to the Spanish press, the midshipmen had the chance to explore Montevideo, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Puerta de la Ciudadela, an 18th-century fortress, and, of course, savoring the delicious Uruguayan cuisine. They experienced it all. Princess Leonor’s next stop will be Chile.
