The Royal Household has unveiled a busy schedule for the royal family in which the Princess of Asturias will be the center of attention.

    Leonor, lady ensign

The first significant event of this summer will take place on Wednesday, July 3 at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza.

There, Leonor will receive from the hands of her father, King Felipe VI, the appointment as lady ensign cadet of the Army, as well as the Grand Cross of Military Merit with white badge.

This event will also be attended by Queen Letizia and Infanta Sofia, although they have no other public appearances scheduled for the rest of the week.

In contrast, the King and Princess of Asturias will continue with a more active agenda.

    Trip to Lleida

On Friday, July 5, they will travel together to Lleida to preside over the presentation of Royal Dispatches to the new promotion of the Non-Commissioned Officers Scale of the Basic General Academy of Non-Commissioned Officers of Talarn.

This will be the first public engagement in which father and daughter participate together, without other members of the royal family, a situation that is expected to be repeated in future military events.
