Princess Leonor is showing a more relaxed side of her life, a contrast to her usual institutional image. Although she is dedicated to her military training and her responsibilities as heiress, she also finds moments to enjoy her youth.

Recently, the Dutch media Royalty, revealed a video where the Princess of Asturias can be seen at a nightclub, enjoying the music on the dance floor.

Princess Leonor, between duty and fun

At 19, Leonor faces a delicate balance between being a public figure and living like any other young woman her age.

Although her routine is marked by official activities and strict training at the General Military Academy, she takes advantage of her free time to socialize with friends.

Sources close to the royal family assure Monarquia Confidencial that Leonor enjoys dancing and does it with passion, although this type of environment is not entirely to the liking of her mother, Queen Letizia.

Since her arrival in Pontevedra to complete her military training, the princess has begun to explore her social life in the area, surprising neighbors with night outings that, although discreet, have not gone unnoticed.

    A royal warning

King Felipe VI, aware of the risks involved in public exposure, has asked his daughter to be cautious during her moments of leisure.

Sources assure that, the monarch’s intention is not to limit her fun, but to avoid that her image could be interpreted in a negative way.

“She is a young woman committed to her future as queen, but she also has the right to enjoy herself like anyone else,” they comment from La Zarzuela.

Although these warnings reflect King Felipe’s concern, they have not generated conflict between father and daughter.

“In the end, all parents want the best for their children, and the kings are no exception,” the same sources add.

Security and restrictions on their outings

Because of her status as heiress, every outing of Leonor involves a security operation that limits certain spontaneity. Before any plan, she must inform her security team about schedules and locations.

In addition, throughout the evening, she is accompanied by escorts, which guarantees her protection but can also make her outings lose the naturalness that any young woman seeks.

It is known that the princess has a team of four escorts in charge of ensuring her safety.

The burden of being a princess

Sources close to the princess assure that, although she faces her role with maturity, she sometimes feels the weight of the expectations that fall on her. She is shy at times, aware that every gesture can be scrutinized.

Despite this, Leonor values the opportunity to deal with people more closely, although she fears being judged.

Her military training has allowed her to acquire discipline and values that will be fundamental to her future, but she also enjoys the time she has without direct parental supervision.

Leonor continues to find ways to enjoy her youth as she prepares to take on a historic role. Although her life is far from completely normal, every step she takes, goes with the demands of her destiny as the future queen of Spain.
