Princess Leonor continues to immerse herself in her military training, as confirmed by her recent visit to Ceuta.
On Saturday, June 21, she arrived early in the morning aboard the frigate Blas de Lezo, marking her first official visit to the autonomous city.
Princess Leonor Visits Ceuta During Naval Training
The heiress, who is currently undergoing naval training while her classmates from the Juan Sebastián de Elcano complete their tour in New York, participated in military events alongside the crew.
One of the highlights of the day was her meeting with the president of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, at the García Aldave barracks.
There, Leonor learned about the work of the Tercio Duque de Alba 2º de la Legión. This visit is part of the training plan designed to familiarize her with the functioning of different Army units, a journey that her father also undertook during his years of preparation as Prince of Asturias.
Unlike other public appearances, the visit to Ceuta was carried out with absolute discretion, without the media present.
However, the deployment of the Navy attracted thousands of residents, who were able to visit ships such as those of the Dédalo-2025 Expeditionary Combat Group, which were open to the public over the weekend.
Sunday, the 22nd, had no official activities, and on Monday, after spending 48 hours in the city, the Princess returned with her team to the Canary Islands, where she will continue her training aboard the Blas de Lezo.
