Princess Leonor’s private party was an event to remember. After a day of official engagements, the future Queen of Spain enjoyed a special celebration at the Royal Palace.
The future Queen of Spain had a great day, starting with the swearing in of her country’s constitution, after which she received the Crown Jewels.
Afterwards, a luncheon was held in her honor at the Royal Palace, and the day ended with a private party.
Princess Leonor’s birthday party
Among the prominent guests was King Emeritus Juan Carlos, who arrived in a vehicle at the entrance of the Palace of El Pardo.
Later, King Felipe and Queen Letizia arrived together in another car, looking elegant and sophisticated.
During the celebration, Queen Letizia wore stunning jewelry, including the Cartier bracelets that are part of the “jewels of the passing” which are passed down from queen to queen.
These jewels have a special institutional and sentimental meaning for Queen Letizia, who saved them for this important occasion.
In addition to the members of the Royal Family, the Infantas Elena and Cristina were also present, as well as Princess Leonor’s cousins, including Felipe Juan Froilán, Irene and Miguel Urdangarin.
Queen Sofia was also present, along with her sister Irene and her sister-in-law, Queen Ana Maria of Greece.
Princess Leonor was also accompanied by a select group of friends, although there are no images to confirm their presence.
And, of course, the presence of the entire Ortiz Rocasolano family could not be missing, since turning 18 is a unique event.
Some notable absentees were Victoria Federica, Juan Urdangarin and Carla Vigo, who were unable to attend for various reasons.
One detail that attracted a lot of attention was that the party lasted until the early hours of the morning, and at the exit, Queen Letizia drove a vehicle and was accompanied by the Infanta Sofia.
Meanwhile, King Felipe left the palace in another vehicle driven by his driver and accompanied by part of the security team, but there was no trace of the birthday girl.
