Princess Leonor of Spain will begin her military training on August 17, and for that, she will have to follow strict rules about makeup and dress.
Used to wearing brand-name clothes, Leonor will have to adapt to a strict protocol that she will have to follow during the three years of her military training.
The daughter of King Felipe VI and the next Queen of Spain, Leonor must meet this requirement as another step in her preparation to become the monarch of Spain.
Princess Leonor’s Dress Code at the Military Academy
After her recent family vacation in Mallorca and her trip along the coasts of the Balearic Islands with her sister, Infanta Sofia, Princess Leonor must resume her royal activities.
The future Queen of Spain will receive the same treatment as her peers once she enters the military academy, so she will also have to wear a uniform and will receive suits, shoes, shirts, sportswear, and even pajamas, just like the rest of the trainees.
In addition, Princess Leonor will not be allowed to wear anything in her hair, and if she does wear hairpins, they will have to be the same color as her hair.
Also, if she wants to tie her hair up, it must be in a bun, and for “educational and campaign or sporting activities,” she would be allowed to wear a ponytail or braid.
As for makeup, she will have to limit herself to using natural colors and for her manicure, she will only be able to use transparent nail polish.
What will be strictly forbidden are watches and rings, as well as any kind of bracelets or glasses.
As for earrings, she can wear them as long as they do not dangle and are small and round.
