After two long years at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales, Princess Leonor of Spain will end her studies at the prestigious British boarding school.
The 17-year-old future queen of Spain will finish her classes on May 20. The Princess of Asturias has passed her final exams and obtained good grades. The daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia has always been a good student.
Princess Leonor’s graduation
Although no details have been revealed as to what Princess Leonor’s graduation will be like, the boarding school is expected to celebrate the traditional graduation party that will put an end to this unforgettable stage for all the students.
Everything seems to indicate that the event could take place on Friday 19 or Saturday 20 May, days in which Felipe and Letizia have freed their agenda of official commitments.
The details that are known are that each student will be able to bring up to four companions, which suggests that in addition to King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and the Infanta Sofia, there could be room for Queen Sofia or Paloma Rocasolano, grandmothers of Leonor.
The students are facing their last week at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales, a very intense and emotional few days that will end with a party in style that could be held in the gardens of the boarding school.
In addition, the students have prepared an emotional farewell video that perfectly reflects how these two unforgettable years have been. For graduation, each of the students will receive their diploma and will participate in a very active way with different performances and speeches.
In terms of formality, the school describes the event as “solemn”, but at the same time “simple and familiar” due to the great diversity of cultures among the students. Regarding the dress code, the boarding school encourages students to dress in gala looks according to their personal criteria. This will be a perfect occasion for Leonor to shine with the best of her style.
Leonor will not be the only protagonist of this month of May. We will have to wait until the 25th for Infanta Sofia to celebrate her confirmation at the Church of Our Lady of Aravaca.
