October is not just any month for Princess Leonor. After her visit to Navarra, where she symbolically assumed the title of Princess of Viana, she now faces a calendar filled with moments that will mark a turning point in her public career.
Three institutional commitments and a very special birthday coincide in a few weeks, placing her at the center of everyone’s attention.

Princess Leonor’s October Agenda
The first event will be Hispanic Day, on October 12, featuring the traditional military parade in Madrid. There, we will see the entire royal family united, which, beyond protocol, will serve to strengthen Leonor’s position in a context where her role as heir is becoming increasingly prominent.
As many experts point out, it won’t just be about being present; it will be about making it clear that she is part of the institutional framework that supports the Crown.

Just a few days later, on October 24, she will experience a historic moment: for the first time, she will preside over the Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo.
This time, Felipe VI will not deliver a speech, which reinforces the idea that Leonor should take center stage and step forward. The next day, she will travel to Valdesoto, which has been named an Exemplary Town for 2025. Although she is expected to do it alone, it is possible that her sister, Infanta Sofia, will be by her side to support her.

The end of the month is undoubtedly personal: on October 31, she turns 20. An anniversary with significant symbolic weight, marking the beginning of a new phase with increased visibility, greater responsibilities, and a focus on the future of the Crown.
October will be a significant month for Leonor on her journey as heir.
