The trip of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía to Paris has generated headlines and excitement, especially due to their active participation in the Olympic Games.
During one of their visits to support Spanish athletes, the sisters were captured in a relaxed moment that demonstrates that, despite their royal status, they are young like anyone else their age.
Against the majestic backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and under the intense sun, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía didn’t want to miss their third day at the Olympic event.
They attended the men’s beach volleyball match that pitted the national team against the Netherlands on Monday morning.
Leonor wore a navy blue T-shirt for the occasion, while her sister opted for a white one. From the stands, like two additional spectators, they immortalized the moment with a phone that went viral on social media.
What about Princess Leonor’s phone?
It’s a gray iPhone with a black case and a slightly worn protective screen due to the passage of time. Princess Leonor took it out to take a photo with her sister.
Both smiled and posed in a snapshot that will remain a memory of their time in the City of Light.
After capturing the photograph, the sisters examined it closely, as if approving that it had turned out as expected.
However, on social media, the comments didn’t focus on the photo’s beauty but rather on the “worn-out” state of the future queen’s mobile phone. It seems that even royalty isn’t immune to the wear and tear of daily use.
Nor has it gone unnoticed that Princess Leonor preferred to take the picture with the rear camera of the cell phone rather than the front, probably for image quality reasons.
