The recent photo of little Princess Lilibet, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has caused a stir on social media.
At just three years old, along with her brother Archie, Lilibet stole the show in the Christmas card that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared on December 16.
Interestingly, although the card included several images, the one of Archie and Lilibet garnered the most attention.
It had been almost two years since we last saw new photos of the little girl, and it was really exciting for her followers to see how much she has grown.
The photo captures Lilibet with her lovely red hair running into her daddy’s arms, while Archie runs into Meghan’s arms and their three dogs appear.
Princess Lilibet’s Dress on the Christmas Card
One of the details that caught everyone’s attention, besides her long hair, was the sweet blue floral dress the princess wore.
If the relationship between Princes William and Harry wasn’t so strained, one might even think that Lilibet was wearing a dress borrowed from her cousin, Princess Charlotte, William and Kate’s daughter.
In the family photo, Lilibet is shown running towards her dad, sporting a lovely baby blue dress with polka dots and white socks.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte, who is now nine years old, has been seen on multiple occasions wearing similar blue print dresses, such as when she met her brother, Prince Louis, and at various Easter celebrations.
Even at Wimbledon, Charlotte dazzled in a dress by Spanish brand Friki, complete with delicate blue floral details.
It is not known if Harry and Meghan were directly inspired by Charlotte to choose Lilibet’s outfit, but it is indisputable that her dress has that royal touch that everyone appreciates.
