Amidst the controversy surrounding the monarchy’s spending, King Charles III and his wife attended the Animal Ball at Lancaster House, a glamorous charity event where Queen Camilla donned extravagant earrings.
The illustrious gathering, attended by the newly crowned royals, marked the 20th anniversary of the Elephant Family charity, an organization in which the Queen has been actively involved for many years.
Queen Camilla’s stunning appearance at the Animal Ball
It is worth mentioning that just before the release of the tax report, Queen Camilla showcased her signature style at the Animal Ball.
The wife of King Charles chose a bespoke ensemble by Anna Valentine, featuring a blue satin midi tunic and wide pants embellished with shimmering silver accents.
To complement her attire, she opted for comfortable satin ballerinas adorned with silver motifs. However, it was her choice of jewelry that truly captivated onlookers.
Camilla mesmerized attendees with her white gold and diamond earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels’ Magic Alhambra collection, with a price tag of $49,900.
In addition to this stunning piece, she adorned herself with other jewelry, including a cherished pendant adorned with a large ruby and the initials of her grandchildren from her previous marriage: Lola, Freddy, Eliza, Louis, and Gus.
Her wrist was adorned with a gold bracelet, also from Van Cleef & Arpels, a Vintage Alhambra model valued at over $5,000.
As for King Charles III, he seized the opportunity to dress for the occasion, opting for a blue pinstripe suit paired with a pink shirt. To emphasize the charitable cause, he adorned his lapel with an elephant brooch.
