This Monday, the British royalty began their visit to the Channel Islands, continuing their summer schedule uninterrupted despite the illness of King Charles III.

During the tour, Camilla surprised everyone by appearing with a bandaged foot.

According to correspondents covering the visit, the queen suffered a sprain the day before.

The images of the queen grabbed the attention, as she also relied on an umbrella to walk.

Despite the injury, Camilla did not let the sprain or the bandage alter her itinerary or her good mood, greeting and receiving congratulations from the public, as she will be celebrating her 77th birthday this Wednesday.

Although Buckingham has not issued an official statement on the injury, several British media outlets have confirmed that Camilla sprained her ankle in Jersey, another of the islands included in the royal tour of the area.

Photographs from the day clearly show the bandage. Camilla was wearing a dress and jacket ensemble in klein blue, one of the most common colors in her closet.

The design, a midi-length with embroidered trim and cuffs, was characteristic of her style.

Often, the queen avoids high heels, opting for comfortable shoes. On this occasion, due to her right foot injury, she chose a two-tone nude model with a black toe cap.

She also wore a stunning four-strand pearl necklace with rhinestone clasp on the front, combined with diamond and sapphire earrings, which matched her Fiona Clare outfit and the blue carnation that King Charles wore in his lapel.

The umbrella, in addition to providing support, proved to be a practical accessory.

During Monday’s visit to Jersey, heavy rain took center stage. This Tuesday, the sun accompanied the kings, but Camilla preferred not to do without the umbrella for safety when walking.

Despite the setbacks, Queen Camilla continued with her busy schedule on the island of Guernsey, which included the opening of Parliament, a meeting with children and a stroll through a local market, where they tasted typical food and drinks of the region.
