After spending several days at Sandringham Palace enjoying one of her great passions: visiting her horses. Queen Elizabeth has resumed her personal schedule this Tuesday, July 12 at Windsor Castle.
The British monarch has once again demonstrated that she is in good health. On this occasion she attended an audience without her cane. Elizabeth II was accompanied by her son, Prince Charles, and both presented the George Cross to representatives of the National Health Service.

For this audience Queen Elizabeth was seen smiling as she handed over one of the most important insignia of the United Kingdom. The George Cross recognizes “acts of the greatest heroism or the most courage in circumstances of extreme danger”.
“The award recognises staff, past and present, across all disciplines and all four nations”, could be read in the publication on the Instagram account of the royal family.
Accompanied by Prince Charles, the Queen welcomed representatives of the NHS in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, who came to collect the award accompanied by some frontline workers.
The world’s longest-reigning monarch wore a springtime floral dress, completed her look with a pearl necklace and red lipstick.
After her Platinum Jubilee, Queen Elizabeth II has resumed her official schedule without any inconvenience.
