Queen Elizabeth makes her first appearance since canceling the Remembrance Day service on Sunday, November 14. The 95 year old monarch has been absent from several events due to health problems for which her doctors ordered her to rest.
Elizabeth II who will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, 70 years on the throne, next year, received on Wednesday, November 17, General Sir Nick Carter for an audience at Windsor Castle following the resignation of his appointment as Chief of the Defence Staff, Buckingham Palace said.

The monarch looked good while conversing with General Carter whom she received standing, dispelling any negative rumors about her health.
Concerns about the monarch’s health arose last month, when she spent a night in a London hospital for “preliminary tests.”
The queen during her rest period has only taken on light desk duties, according to palace officials.
