Queen Elizabeth II reappeared this Tuesday, October 26, through video audiences with new ambassadors, this would be her first official commitments since doctors ordered her to rest and after spending a night hospitalized last week.

The 95 year old monarch offered the hearings from Windsor Castle, on the outskirts of London and now her main place of residence, to receive the credentials of the ambassadors of South Korea and Switzerland, buckingham Palace said.

This is the first public appearance since October 19, when Elizabeth II “reluctantly” agreed to suspend a visit to Northern Ireland after doctors advised her to rest for a few days.

The Queen then spent the night Wednesday to Thursday last week in hospital, officially for “preliminary” examinations.

It was learned that Queen Elizabeth II, following the advice of her doctors to rest, will not attend this Sunday, October 31, the UN climate conference COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland.
