The Queen returned to Buckingham Palace after spending the night from Wednesday to Thursday admitted to a hospital for “preliminary tests”. The 95-year-old monarch will turn 70 as monarch next year.
Elizabeth II agreed “reluctantly” on Wednesday to suspend a visit to Northern Ireland after doctors advised her to rest for a few days. However, Buckingham Palace reported that the Queen remains in a good mood and has returned home to work.

“The Queen went to a hospital on Wednesday afternoon for preliminary tests and returned to Windsor Castle today (Thursday) at lunchtime and maintains a good mood,” the royal palace said in a brief statement.
It should be noted that there is no record that the Queen has had any serious health problems in recent years.
Last week the monarch was seen using a walking stick for the first time in 17 years while accompanied by her daughter, Princess Anne.
On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth II refused to receive the “Oldie of the Year” award, saying it did not meet “the relevant criteria”.
