Queen Emeritus Sofia, at 85 years old, has made her first official appearance in Palma de Mallorca. Although she has been on the island for several days enjoying private plans, it was not until Monday night that she participated in an official event.
Accompanied by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, Queen Sofia attended the traditional reception at the Marivent Palace for authorities of the Balearic Islands and representatives of Balearic society.
For this occasion, Queen Sofia chose an outfit that faithfully reflects her characteristic style.
Every summer, she usually opts for outfits with boho prints, which give her elegance, comfort and a rejuvenated air.
This time, the mother of King Felipe VI wore a two-piece suit with a beautiful floral print in shades of green.
