In a gesture of support for charitable causes, Queen Emeritus Sofia of Spain paid a visit to the Huesca Food Bank.
For this appointment, she wore an austere and discreet style befitting the occasion.
Queen Sofia at the Food Bank of Huesca
Although Queen Sofia’s events do not have as much prominence as those of King Felipe and Queen Letizia, she continues to provide a sure value for the monarchy.
Queen Sofia’s visit to the Huesca Food Bank is part of her ongoing commitment to charitable causes and her desire to support the neediest communities.
A gesture of solidarity that highlights her human qualities and her ability to continue serving the monarchy despite her advanced age.
Sofia is always very involved in these tasks and spends her time visiting different food banks in Spain.
During her tour, the queen emeritus kindly greeted the representatives of the Food Bank and other authorities present, who were surprised by her visit.
Sofia’s visit is “an honor and, moreover, unexpected, because you never think that it will be your chosen Bank (…) We know that the Queen is very involved in these tasks and that she has visited other Banks in Spain, but this being such a small and modest Bank we did not think that she would come to see it”, declared Paco Llinares, vice president of the Bank of Huesca.
Queen Emeritus Sofia’s style in Huesca
For this visit to Huesca, Queen Emeritus Sofia chose her wardrobe well.
The undisputed protagonist of her style was a striking tweed jacket made by the renowned German firm Escada, one of the favorites in the closet of the emeritus.
The jacket has an eye-catching plaid print that brings a timeless touch to her outfit.
The details and the quality of the material are a good characteristic of Queen Sofia’s style.
Complementing her look, Sofia opted for minimalist accessories that allowed the Escada jacket to be the true protagonist.
