There is no denying the elegance of Queen Letizia of Spain. Recently, she accompanied King Felipe to the La Vanguardia Awards ceremony, held at the National Museum of Art in Barcelona.
For the occasion, the Queen wore new clothes and was elegant in every detail of her look.
Queen Letizia’s dress by Dries Van Note
The dress chosen by Queen Letizia was a stunning black design with a subtle gold floral print, created by renowned Belgian designer Dries Van Noten.
This “little black dress” featured a boat neckline, thin straps, a half-open back, a sharp waist and a figure-flattering skirt.
The inspiration for this dress was the designer’s personal garden, as he himself revealed. However, this model is from a previous collection and is not currently on sale, adding to the exclusivity of the Queen’s choice.
The choice of accessories was also impeccable. The Queen chose two different pairs of shoes to complement her style.
She wore elegant black kitten heels by Massimo Dutti, and then, at the awards ceremony.
The handbag she chose for the occasion was also new. It was a gold handbag that matched the floral details of the dress.
This bag is from the prestigious Carolina Herrera brand and is the Bimba model. Made of Palmera leather with a quilted soufflé finish featuring the initials Carolina 2020, it comes in a variety of colours and retails for around $684.
Finally, the earrings could not be missing. The Queen chose gold-plated earrings in the shape of jasmines with a crystal detail at the centre.
The earrings are also by Carolina Herrera and can be purchased on their website for $ 261. Letizia also completed her look with her signature Coreterno ring.
