Queen Letizia is once again in the spotlight for her temperament.
During her visit to the Spanish Congress with her husband, King Felipe, and her daughter, Princess Leonor, her gestures once again generated comments.
The Spanish press has always described the 51-year-old queen as a perfectionist and somewhat aloof.
However, she has worked hard to shed this cold image and in recent years has shown herself to be close to the people.
However, when it comes to institutional events, the Queen seems uncomfortable and her face often gives her away.
Queen Letizia at the Congress of Spain
After the controversy generated by her anger during the swearing in of her daughter to the Constitution, Letizia has not wanted to change her image.
The glances and references to Leonor have been constant.
During the monarch’s speech, King Felipe’s wife took the opportunity to speak to the princess.
Her gestures were somewhat serious, suggesting that she was correcting the young girl.
Letizia has an impeccable knowledge of protocol, as she is the one responsible for instructing her daughters on the procedures to be followed.
Throughout the day, the Queen could be seen to be visibly tense.
But Letizia was not the only one: Princess Leonor also seemed to be out of sorts.
The first-born of the monarchs was more serious than on other occasions, although her role on this occasion should be no more sober than during the swearing in of the Constitution.
Undoubtedly, she lacked the support of the Infanta Sofia, because whenever they appear together, Leonor relaxes to the maximum and shows a calmer and more serene attitude.
