Queen Letizia has closed this week of official engagements with a very significant event at the Prado Museum in Madrid.
On this occasion, she attended a ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Aequitas Foundation, which is dedicated to the legal protection of people with disabilities and those in vulnerable situations.
During the event, the Queen had the honor of presenting the ‘Speaker and Heroes Anonymous’ Awards, promoted by the foundation, which seek to recognize the effort and dedication towards these people.
This event not only highlights the work of the Foundation but also has a personal touch for Queen Letizia, as reported by the Spanish press.
It is interesting to mention that the Aequitas Foundation is part of the General Council of Notaries, where Ana Togores, the wife of Jesús Ortiz, Queen Letizia’s father, works.
Ana Togores has been working at the General Council of Notaries for 25 years and is the Director of Communication.
Queen Letizia’s outfit at the Prado Museum
To end her weekly agenda, Queen Letizia opted for a sober and elegant outfit. She chose a navy blue knitted dress from the COS brand, part of the H&M conglomerate, and paired it with boots and diamond earrings.
This is the fourth event at which she has worn this dress, each time managing to give it a different twist.
Her choice of dark colors has become habitual since the recent floods in Valencia, which adds an emotional undertone to her public image.
Undoubtedly, this ceremony not only celebrates an important anniversary but also reaffirms Queen Letizia’s commitment to causes that have a profound impact on society.
