Queen Letizia together with King Felipe VI, have made an appearance in the Patio de la Armeria of the Royal Palace of Madrid to preside over the act of state tribute to the victims of Covid-19 and recognition of health personnel.
For this occasion, the mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia did not wear a mask as she did at the opening ceremony of the V Conference on ‘Informative treatment of disability in the media’ and at the National Culture Awards 2020.

Queen Letizia’s navy blue dress
Queen Letizia, was very moved at the event. Aware of the sober and emotional touch, she opted for a simple midi-length design, closed neckline and slight flared cut. The Spanish monarch preferred not to wear black and chose a tone that represents serenity and hope.
The consort has used camel-colored accessories: suede pumps signed by Carolina Herrera and matching handbag. As for jewelry, she has opted for sapphire earrings and brilliant teardrop-shaped.
Finally, the King and Queen presented four Medals of Civil Merit to different health workers who gave their all in the most difficult moments of the pandemic.
