Queen Letizia Debuts Colorful Blue Suit
Queen Letizia arrived at the Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid. She was there for the premiere of the documentary “The Science of African Women – Science by Women.”
This documentary shares the experiences of African women scientists who have been part of the “Science by Women” program over the past nine years.
The blue suit Queen Letizia wore is from the Woman Limited line by El Corte Inglés.
It is made of a linen and viscose blend. The suit includes an oversized jacket with a single button and two large pockets. The jacket costs US$250.
She paired it with matching slightly baggy pants and a white lace top.
For the past few weeks, Queen Letizia has had to wear sneakers at all her public appearances. This is because she broke her middle toe on her right foot.
Despite her injury, she continued with her royal duties, using sneakers as her go-to footwear.
Letizia usually wears white sneakers, especially the Geo Court III model by the British brand Vivobarefoot.
These sneakers are made from sustainably sourced leather and cost US$190. The brand focuses on minimalist shoes designed for comfort.
Queen Letizia also carried a white handbag to match her sneakers and top.
The handbag is a design by CH Carolina Herrera, named Initials Insignia. It is made from high-quality baobab leather and features a rhodium-plated 35th-anniversary bracelet as a unique closure. This handbag costs US$875.
Her jewelry was simple but elegant. She wore small gold hoop earrings and her beloved ring from Coreterno.
Queen Letizia will be seen next on Saturday in Oviedo, her hometown. She and the King will attend the main event celebrating Armed Forces Day 2024.
