Tuesday held a special event for Queen Letizia, not only for her commitment to the Red Cross, an event she presided over, but also because of the location: Oviedo.
The Queen of Spain returned to her beloved Asturias, the land of her birth and upbringing, choosing a flattering look.
Queen Letizia Celebrates in Oviedo World Red Cross Day
Queen Letizia arrived at the Auditorium-Prince Felipe Congress Palace, a familiar venue where the prelude concert to the Princess of Asturias Awards is held annually.
She presided over the commemorative event for the ‘World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day’, where Gold Medals were awarded to the San Camilo Center, filmmaker Fernando León de Aranoa, scientist Fernando Valladares, the Neuro-Rights Foundation, Servimedia Agency, and the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases, of which the Queen is the honorary president.
Queen Letizia’s style in Oviedo
For her visit to Oviedo, Queen Letizia debuted a fuchsia tweed jacket from Mango, the Siena model, featuring a straight design, short round neck, long sleeves, four front patch pockets, zip front closure, and frayed details.
It’s available on Mango’s website for €69.99, (US$75 at current exchange rate).
She paired the new jacket with a matching fuchsia tweed top.
Although the exact model wasn’t found on Mango’s website, it’s confirmed that the Queen acquired the dress and had Zarzuela’s seamstresses modify it into a top, making it a customized piece.
Continuing her recent preference for white pants, Queen Letizia chose culotte-style pants to match her white sneakers, worn due to a fractured toe on her right foot.
These Vivobarefoot Geo Court III sneakers, made of consciously sourced leather, are described as ideal for those who move barefoot and seek fluidity.
Her jewelry choice included ruby, diamond, and rose gold earrings, the Needle I am model from Gold & Roses’ I AM RED collection, emphasizing love, beauty, and freedom through red.
Queen Letizia trusts this sustainable jewelry brand, a topic she’s paid close attention to in recent years.
