As every summer, the Spanish royal family enjoys a few days in Mallorca, and this Sunday was no exception.
The private dinner attended by the Spanish royal family was witnessed by the press, who once again captured a sample of the summer style of Queen Letizia.
Queen Letizia’s Floral Dress in Mallorca
On this occasion, Letizia surprised with a new dress designed exclusively for her by Virginia Vald, a talented Balearic fashion designer.
The dress, called “Brisa”, is part of the SS25 collection and stands out for its embroidered flowers in fuchsia pink and white tones, an elegant halter neckline, a floaty skirt and an asymmetrical midi length.
These elements were carefully selected to highlight the elegance and style of Queen Letizia, as the designer herself explained to the Spanish web Vanitatis.
Virginia Vald, who fell in love with Letizia’s elegance and intelligence during a reception in Marivent last year, had the desire to dress the queen one day.
Since that occasion, she worked on a design that would not only highlight Letizia’s best features, but would also be comfortable and match perfectly with the flat sandals that the queen usually wears in summer.
The color of the dress, white and fuchsia, was chosen with Letizia’s summer tan in mind, and indeed, the result was spectacular.
The designer, born in Barcelona and living in Ibiza, told how Queen Letizia, during the last reception in Marivent, showed her enthusiasm for the design, making it clear that she loved it.
The doubt of when Letizia would wear the dress was resolved this Sunday night, when she went out to dinner accompanied by King Felipe, Queen Sofia, her daughters and the couple formed by Tatiana Radziwill and Jean Henri Fruchaud.
Letizia wore the dress with flat sandals and a bag from Feel Mallorca, supporting Balearic fashion.
Vald, expressed her pride and happiness for having fulfilled her dream of dressing the queen.
It should be noted that the design is not immediately available for sale, it is expected to be part of the next season, with an approximate price of $930.
Virginia Vald stands out for its sustainable fashion values, using natural materials and 100% Spanish production.
