As the Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), Letizia spoke at the organization’s central event, which promotes worldwide efforts to accelerate progress in cancer research and raise awareness of its importance.
This visit marks Letizia’s second trip to London this year, and for this occasion, she chose to wear a stunning new Giorgio Armani dress.
El acto central del “Día Mundial de la Investigación en Cáncer” presidido por la Reina concluye con un debate sobre “Experiencias y perspectivas de futuro de la investigación en España y Reino Unido” y un diálogo abierto con investigadores españoles.

Queen Letizia in London wearing a silk dress by Giorgio Armani
Specifically, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia’s mother arrived in London wearing a navy blue midi dress by Giorgio Armani covered in a red, pink, and green floral print.
The pre-fall 2019 silk dress featured pleats, long sleeves, a high neckline, and raw-cut edges. With a fitted bodice and flowing skirt, the silhouette complemented Letizia’s slender figure.
Armani is a significant presence in the wardrobe of Spain’s Queen Letizia, as she has worn garments from the Italian house on various occasions.
Her accessories enhanced her sophisticated style. The wife of King Felipe VI carried the navy blue Baret bag by CH Carolina Herrera, harmonizing with the color tones.
On her feet, she wore suede slingbacks, also from Carolina Herrera. The consort owns several pairs of heels in different colors from the same brand.
To add sparkle, she wore the ‘Luzia’ earrings of 3 and 2 diamond stars and rose gold, designed by Gold & Roses. The combined value of both pieces exceeds $2,700.
On her right hand, Letizia wore the subtle Coreterno ring.
