King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia finally enjoyed a lunch with Volodymyr Zelenski at the Royal Palace.
The Ukrainian president resumed his visit to Spain this Monday after having to postpone it due to recent Russian attacks on Kharkov.
During this meeting, he had the chance to personally update the Spanish royals on the current situation after more than two years of war.
Ukrainian President arrived at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport this morning and was greeted by King Felipe VI on the tarmac, a gesture of closeness and respect.
After meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at La Moncloa, Zelensky went to the Royal Palace, where he was warmly received by the King and Queen.
During their initial exchange, it was clear from their words and gestures that there is a strong rapport between Ukrainian President and the Spanish royals.
They then proceeded to the dining room for a lunch held in Zelenski’s honor.
Queen Letizia in Navy Blue Suit to Receive Zelenski
Queen Letizia stuck to her now-signature style: a suit and comfortable shoes.
This weekend in Oviedo, she wowed everyone with an elegant oversized red suit. Today, she continued her streak with another two-piece ensemble.
Understanding that the meeting’s tone was somber due to Ukraine’s critical situation, Queen Letizia chose a timeless navy blue blazer and tailored pants.
These classic suits never go out of style and are perfect for any special occasion.
She added a youthful touch to her outfit by pairing it with a lacy top peeking out from the neckline.
Queen Letizia swaps sneakers for ballet flats
Due to her foot injury from a household accident, Queen Letizia had to wear comfortable shoes.
Lately, white sneakers have been her go-to, but today she opted for stylish and practical ballet flats instead.
She debuted a pair of black leather flats with a rounded toe and ankle strap for extra support. These flats are perfect for the warmer weather, providing both elegance and the comfort she needs.
For jewelry, Queen Letizia wore white gold, diamond, and Australian pearl earrings that can be lengthened or shortened.
This valuable piece from her personal collection was paired with her usual Coreterno ring.
