    The handmade espadrilles are from Calzados Picón, a small Murcian company that Letizia wore for the first time in 2020.

    The public debut of her shoes sparked immense growth for the brand, which is now expanding its manufacturing capabilities and digital presence to meet the demand from Spanish and international customers eager to emulate Letizia’s style.

    In keeping with the Queen’s preference for natural materials, these espadrilles feature chrome-free leather and jute and cork soles.

    Ankle ties create a classic, flattering silhouette that elongates the legs. Although simple design, the custom-made last ensures a perfect fit for Letizia’s feet.

    Spanish portal Vanitatis has reported that the Picón brand will not release this custom gold pair to the public for at least a year, a gesture that some brands employ with royalty.
