There is no weather that can prevent Queen Letizia from fulfilling her official commitments, so she usually adapts her closet to look impeccable without succumbing to low temperatures.
This time the consort has traveled to Alicante to preside over the II meeting of the Network of Direct Care Centers and Specialized Services of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases. In this meeting the Queen has known firsthand the services offered to people.
La Reina también ha visitado el centro de atención diurna @SBarreres de Petrer, que acoge este segundo Encuentro Nacional de la Red de centros y servicios especializados de la Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras (FEDER).

Queen Letizia in a dress by Pedro del Hierro
For this event, the mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, rescued from her closet garments perfect for winter weather. Specifically, Letizia wore a black and white houndstooth print dress, signed by Pedro del Hierro. She wore the garment for the first time a year ago on an official trip to Vienna.
This time she has combined the dress with high boots with wide heels and has completed her style with a black cloth coat, a must-have basic in winter.
As an additional detail, the queen decided to wear earrings that have remained in her collection for 18 years. They are the earrings she received as a gift from the San Eloy Jewelers Association of Cordoba and are made with the filigree technique in white gold and have 17 diamonds. On her fingers was not missing her new favorite ring.
Great reception for Queen Letizia in Alicante
Something that Queen Letizia certainly did not expect was that upon her arrival at the Sense Barreres day care center in Petrer, dozens of people were on site to greet her and take a picture with her.
Shouting “Viva España” or “Guapa”, those present had a gesture of affection that was reciprocated because before entering the center, Queen Letizia moved to greet everyone she could, even taking some selfies.
