Queen Letizia bet all on navy blue for her trip to Galicia this Monday, where she attended the inauguration of the new school year at a school in Oroso.
It should be noted that her helicopter had problems landing due to bad weather, which caused her to arrive late. But the Spanish Queen finally made an appearance wearing an ideal outfit for the occasion.
Queen Letizia in Galicia with a sailor look
The monarch chose a combination of different shades of navy blue that gave her a youthful and sporty air.
She wore a horizontal striped sweater in navy blue and white, with high neck, by Hugo Boss ($110). She paired it with papper bag style pants with an ankle cut from the same German brand.
She finished off the outfit with a navy blue leather belt and distinctive navy blue suede pumps, with square detail on the toe, by Isabel Abdo.
It is the Carrie model, which is priced at 240 euros (about $258 at the current exchange rate).
Navy Blue was the right choice for this event with the Galician students. In addition, being a dark tone, it is always appropriate and elegant.
As for the footwear, Letizia again opted for a comfortable low heel, in line with what she has worn in her last events.
It should be remembered that the mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia suffers from foot problems, so she now avoids high heels.
For this occasion she chose flat slingbacks, also in navy blue, to complete her nautical look from head to toe.
In jewelry, she repeated her gold and diamond earrings from Gold & Roses, which she showed off thanks to her high ponytail with side parting. And she wore her Coreterno ring on her hand.
Undoubtedly, a sailor look, elegant and comfortable to fulfill her royal engagements in Galicia.
