Queen Letizia pays tribute to the Netherlands with her outfit on the third day of the state visit

The State Visit of the King and Queen of Spain to the Netherlands has entered its third day, and once again the focus has been on the elegant and sophisticated Queen Letizia.

In her joint appearance with Queen Máxima, the wife of King Felipe VI wanted to pay homage to the Dutch royal family with a striking look that masterfully combines pink and orange.

After Wednesday night’s gala dinner at the Royal Palace, Queen Letizia and Queen Máxima’s agenda was divided from that of their respective husbands.

The morning began with a visit to the facilities of the LAB6 association, a meeting place dedicated to mental health where sports activities for young people are held.

Later, both queens were at a colloquium on the film ‘Campeonex’, in the framework of the Spanish Film Festival in Amsterdam, at the Royal Tuschinski Theater.

For this day, Letizia opted for a combination of spring colors, even though neither the temperatures nor the sky corresponded to this season.

The mix of pink and orange, two shades that at first glance would not seem to fit, has been a success for the Queen, who has once again demonstrated her mastery in creating unique and surprising looks.

Sustainability has been another of the key elements of the Queen’s attire, who has opted for garments that she has already worn on previous occasions.

One example is the coat in an intense pink, signed by Carolina Herrera, which she debuted during her official visit to Sweden in November 2021 and which she wore again on her recent trip to Denmark.

Another highlight of Letizia’s look is the dress, also signed by Carolina Herrera, which she wore for the first time at the official welcome that the King and Queen of Sweden gave to the King and Queen of Spain.

Now, the Queen has wanted to give a new life to this garment, combining it with Magrit shoes and a new bag, both in pink tones.

Queen Letizia’s outfit on this third day of the state visit to the Netherlands has been a true tribute to the Dutch royal family, with a play of colors that contrasted with the style of Queen Maxima.

The Dutch queen has opted for this day for a dress-type coat, in a soft mauve tone with a mix of fabrics, a wide belt, and its chimney neck.

Maxima has worn a maxi headband to match her dress while Doña Letizia has chosen to wear her hair loose without any type of accessory.
