The delicate fabric and romantic puffed maxi sleeves contrasted beautifully with slim black pants.
With voluminous sleeves, Letizia cinched the blouse at the waist with a thin black Hugo Boss belt to define her silhouette. She has used this visual trick before to balance out billowy shapes.
The ruffled shirt, dubbed the Nina style, costs 138 euros (about $146 at the exchange rate) and is hand-tailored to give it a couture feel.
The Queen’s decision to wear pink may have significance, as October 19 marks World Breast Cancer Day.
