Official activities of Queen Letizia
The return of the queen’s official activities also starts with the beginning of September. King Felipe and Mrs. Letizia put an end to the rest days and this week they start their activities.
It was known that the kings will return to work this Wednesday, September 2 separately.
While Doña Letizia will perform an act in Madrid, Don Felipe will do it in Galicia. The Queen will travel to the headquarters of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) to hold a meeting with the intention of knowing the impact of the pandemic on families living with these diseases.
The meeting that the queen will hold will be focused on the problems and strategy against COVID-19. Meanwhile, King Felipe will inaugurate the course that same day with a visit to the Miño Naval Command, located in the Pontevedra town of Tui.
The whole family will get to work with the activities. The infanta Leonor and Sofía will return to school, the Santa María de los Rosales, on September 8.
While the Infanta, who will attend the 2nd year of ESO, has a full face-to-face education planned, the one for Leonor, who will begin 4th, will be blended. It will undoubtedly be an atypical school year caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
