Queen Letizia once again made a style statement at the ceremony commemorating the Spanish team’s participation in the Barcelona 92 Olympic Games.
The Spanish consort reconfirmed that every time she attends a sporting event, she wears red, the color that represents Spanish sports.
The last time she attended a sports-related event was at the final of the Women’s Soccer World Cup.
On that occasion, Letizia chose a red suit by Hugo Boss called Jaline, composed of slightly flared straight pants and a double-breasted blazer with a lapel pocket.

This Friday, April 26, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, attended the headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee to preside over the ceremony in tribute to all the athletes who were part of the Spanish team in the 1992 Olympic Games.
On that occasion, King Felipe was the flag bearer of the Spanish team, so this event was very special for him as he was able to meet again with the athletes who won 22 medals and 41 diplomas.

For this event, the Queen of Spain chose a red suit designed by Carolina Herrera, which she wore with different colored pieces, creating a bold combination that defies conventional fashion rules.
Specifically, it is a red suit by Carolina Herrera, which belongs to the prefall 2019 collection.
It is a classic two-piece composed of a fitted jacket with different tone buttons and straight-waisted pants that she had already worn a couple of times.
The queen premiered this outfit in March 2023 and repeated it in November to attend the exhibition ‘Picasso 1906. The great transformation’.
Something distinctive about Queen Letizia is that, the times she has worn this red suit she has combined it with pink elements.
For many the combination is arbitrary, but the Spanish consort knows very well that it is a current trend known as ‘color block’.
To combine the red suit, the mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia chose a short-sleeved blouse with a draped neckline by Hugo Boss.
For comfort due to her foot ailment, the wife of King Felipe chose to wear wide-heeled shoes, fine tips and cross straps of the Italian firm Patrizia Pepe.
But attention, in this styling there was a premiere accessory. It is a minimalist earring, with two horizontal shapes decorated with black rhinestones. At the moment, it is not known to which firm they belong.
The jewel that was not missing was her Coreterno ring, from which she never separates.
With this style, Queen Letizia ended her institutional agenda for the week.
