Queen Letizia’s elegance and style are always of great interest to followers of the Spanish Royal Family.
In her recent appearance in Amsterdam’s Dam Square, the consort did not disappoint and captivated with an impeccable look that perfectly combined garments and accessories from renowned brands.
Queen Letizia was elegant with a headdress, tweed dress, and emeralds in her first meeting with the King and Queen of the Netherlands.
Queen Letizia’s style at Dam Square
For the official welcome offered by the King and Queen of the Netherlands, Queen Letizia chose a tailored jade green tweed dress by Spanish brand Moises Nieto.
With a flattering cut, slightly flared sleeves, and an ankle-length pencil skirt, the garment highlighted the consort’s slender figure.
As a complement, Letizia opted for a retro-inspired headdress in nude, the work of the Balel Madrid millinery.
This firm had already dressed the Queen in significant events such as the coronation of King Charles III in London and the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh.
To protect herself from the cold, the Queen wore fine cream-colored gloves.
The Spanish consort wore nude-colored slingbacks by Carolina Herrera, the same firm to which belonged the cape she wore for the floral offering due to the rain and low temperatures.
The bag, also matching the dress, belonged to one of the latest collections of Moisés Nieto, impeccably closing the outfit.
But undoubtedly, the final and most dazzling touch was provided by magnificent diamond and emerald earrings that have historically belonged to Queen Sofia.
With this gesture, Letizia paid tribute to her mother-in-law, adding a touch of elegance and distinction to her already impeccable look.
This combination of garments and accessories made up a style that captivated all and sundry.
Queen Maxima’s style
For her part, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands wore a deep red two-piece ensemble designed by Natan.
The design was composed of a blouse in blousy chiffon with a boat neckline, long sleeves, and side pleats, combined with a midi skirt in shiny taffeta ‘A’ line.
She complemented her look with a wide-brimmed, round-shaped Delvigne pamela, leather gloves, a clutch handbag with gold clasp, red pumps, and a dragonfly brooch from the family jewelry box, along with diamond and white gold earrings.
