The Spanish royal family gathered to celebrate Infanta Elena’s 60th birthday at a lunch held at the exclusive Pabu restaurant in Madrid.
As expected, Queen Letizia grabbed the attention of the media and flashbulbs with casual styling very much in keeping with the occasion, which included several trendy pieces for the season.
Queen Letizia’s style at Infanta Elena’s birthday party
The absolute protagonist of Letizia’s styling was a flare cut tweed trouser in a dark green tone, signed by Maje, one of the queen’s favorite French brands.
It is a high-waisted design with an invisible zipper, two patch pockets, and a wide hem, which is part of the new collection of the French firm.
The queen dispensed with the original metallic mini belt and combined it with a thin black leather belt.
This color was the common thread of the rest of the pieces, such as the fine knitted sweater with a round neck and long sleeves, and a leather jacket in biker style.
On her feet she wore modern black loafers with track soles, similar to the Martinelli pair she recently debuted.
It is a trendy shoe, with a round toe, instep mask, and embossed stitching.
The outfit was completed with a small Carolina Herrera Victoria bag, a basic in her closet, and long emerald earrings by Tous, a gift she received for her 50th birthday.
The jewels belong to Rosa Oriol’s Atelier collection and have the particularity of being able to be disassembled to be worn in different ways.
With this look, Queen Letizia once again demonstrated her ability to combine casual, basic, and trendy pieces, achieving a harmonious and very flattering result without clashing at all with the family celebration.
An outfit worthy of a fashionista queen who never misses an opportunity to set trends.
