Perhaps it was due to the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Princess of Girona Foundation, or maybe because after more than a month wearing pants and flat shoes due to an ailment in her right foot, she felt like going back to dresses.
The truth is that Queen Letizia has not gone unnoticed in Lloret de Mar in terms of fashion, leaving us three memorable looks.
The last one, for the awards ceremony this Wednesday afternoon, was a black and white design with floral print by Carolina Herrera, which she combined with low-heeled sandals.
The King and Queen, accompanied by their daughters Leonor and Sofia, arrived at the Costa Brava Auditorium in Lloret de Mar for the Princess of Girona Awards ceremony.
Before the ceremony, the family had the opportunity to meet some of the projects of the Talent Tour. It was at that moment when we could appreciate the outfits chosen by the three ladies of the family.
Queen Letizia’s Style at the Princess of Girona Awards
Leonor wore a navy blue dress from Self Portrait, while the Infanta Sofia repeated an outfit from The Are.
For her part, Queen Letizia debuted a Carolina Herrera dress from the pre-fall 2018 collection, a knitted design with a silhouette to which we are already accustomed.
This particular dress features short sleeves, round neck, zipper closure at the back and cinched waist.
The most outstanding element of the dress is its print: black tulips embroidered on a white background.
For this occasion, the queen consort opted for new black sandals by Hugo Boss, the same ones she wore in their white version the day before during a meeting with previous recipients of the Princess of Girona Awards.
These sandals, made in nappa leather, feature a thin ankle strap, a padded top strap and a 5 cm heel. They were originally priced at $270, but are currently marked down to $145.
As for jewelry, the Queen surprised by rescuing some long earrings from Carolina Herrera’s ‘Falling Jasmine’ collection.
Created by Carolina Adriana Herrera, daughter of the designer, they are inspired by the works of Argentine artist Grillo Demo.
As the name suggests, they represent the shape of a jasmine, made in gold-plated silver and enameled in white. The Queen also owns the short version of these earrings. And, of course, the Coreterno ring was not missing.
