This Thursday, April 4, the King and Queen of Spain, Felipe and Queen Letizia opened the doors of the Royal Palace of El Pardo to present the National Sports Awards 2022.
For this occasion, Queen Letizia opted for a working girl style wearing a white shirt with a bow.
But what stood out the most were her red pants and her new matching shoes. A simple but effective outfit.

Queen Letizia’s outfit was composed of several pieces recycled from her closet.
As is customary for the Spanish consort, she likes to give them a new life after premiering them.
One of the pieces taken from the back of her closet is the wine-red leather pants by Hugo Boss.
It is a piece that she debuted in 2022 and has worn in some audiences.
These pants have always combined them with a knitted sweater in the same tone and that also belongs to the German firm.
However, this time he innovated and his choice was a white silk shirt from Carolina Herrera.
This silk shirt is not new, she debuted it for the first time in 2018, and since then she has combined it with multiple pieces.
The last time she wore it was at the reception to the diplomatic corps in January 2023, for that occasion she combined it with a beautiful pale pink long skirt.
As for accessories, the mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia has shown off some new comfortable heels in her collection.
These are Magrit pumps in burgundy leather and kitten heels.
In her latest outings, the queen has left aside the high heels and has been seen wearing lower and more comfortable heels.
It should be remembered that the Spanish queen suffers from metatarsalgia, an inflammation of the front part of the foot due to excessive load, which eventually causes pain in the metatarsals.
On the other hand, she also suffers from Morton’s neuroma, a condition characterized by a thickening of the nerve tissue in the foot.
Both conditions become painful with excessive use of high heels.
As for jewelry, the Queen has rescued her gold-plated silver earrings in the shape of a drop from the Spanish firm P de Paola.
Not missing on her finger was her inseparable Coreterno ring.
The National Sports Awards 2022
The National Sports Awards, organized by the Consejo Superior de Deportes, recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to the promotion and dissemination of sport in Spain.
In this edition, outstanding athletes and organizations were awarded in various categories, such as best athlete of the year, fair play and sports promotion.

The award ceremony, presided over by the King and Queen of Spain, was attended by sports authorities and award winners, in an event that celebrated the achievements and commitment to sport in Spain.
Felipe and Letizia were the only members of the royal family present at this event, even though there are awards named after their daughters, and also after the emeritus King and Queen.
However, Leonor and Sofia do not actively participate in this type of event for the moment.
As for the emeritus King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, they dissociated themselves from the National Sports Awards years ago.
