Spain’s Queen Letizia opted for a low-key but sophisticated look during her solemn visit to Tenerife on Tuesday, where she accompanied King Felipe to inspect areas affected by devastating forest fires in August.
The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia was dressed in neutral colors, very much in keeping with the official act.
Queen Letizia’s styling in Tenerife
The Queen wore a stone-colored 3/4 length trench coat that she had already worn more than a decade ago to attend the 2012 Exemplary Village.
The neutral color palette matched the solemnity of the occasion, while the coat’s belt and double lapels added structure.
She paired the trench coat with Prince of Wales print pants and a black sweater with a closed neckline: an elegant work look perfect for a day of royal duties.
The wife of King Felipe wore on her feet black leather loafers of masculine inspiration very comfortable and formal.
In her hair, the queen wore a flirty braid on the left side of her mane. Jewelry-wise, she followed her austere line by wearing Gold&Roses triple hoop earrings and her ‘Love’ ring by Coreterno.
With her timeless trench coat and strategic styling, Letizia demonstrated elegance and practicality.
