The Queen Letizia effect is felt again.
Since Queen Letizia appeared in public wearing MU The Brand sneakers on May 6, the shoe company’s popularity has grown notably, increasing its sales by 50%.
This change of footwear is due to a fracture in a phalanx of her right foot, in addition to chronically suffering from Morton’s neuroma, a painful condition in her left foot that affects the tissue around one of the nerves of the toes.
Queen Letizia’s sneakers sales are on the rise
Queen Letizia, known for her elegant style, has recently opted for flat-soled footwear instead of traditional high-heeled shoes.
Among the brands she has chosen is MU The Brand, a Spanish company that manufactures all of its products in Spain.
These designs are not only comfortable, but are also suitable for formal events, as seen in the queen’s recent appearances.
The impact on sales
Letizia’s appearance with MU The Brand footwear did not go unnoticed.
Alicia Lopez-Ulloa, co-founder and CEO of the brand, commented to Spanish portal Confidencial Digital that the “Letizia effect” has been remarkable.
Barely a month after the queen wore her sneakers at the EmociónArte concert at the Teatro Real, the company’s sales increased by more than 50%.
Predominance of women’s sales
Currently, the company sells approximately 1,500 pairs of sneakers per month. López-Ulloa points out that more than 70% of these sales are women’s models.
According to company information, each pair is handcrafted in Elche, Alicante, using high-quality leathers.
This focus on quality and design has enabled this Spanish company to position itself as a leading option in the footwear market, especially among those seeking a combination of style and comfort.
