Queen Letizia began her cooperation trip to Colombia on Monday, June 12. The Spanish consort has not stopped since she arrived in the city of Cartagena, where she saw first-hand the work being done to improve the quality of life in vulnerable areas of the region.
On her first day on Colombian soil, accompanied by the first lady, Verónica Alcocer, Letizia visited Villa Hermosa, a neighborhood located in the south of the city that has drinking water thanks to the work of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation.

During her trip the Spanish queen stayed at the exclusive boutique hotel Casa Don Luis by Faranda.

The hotel has just 20 rooms, making it perfect for guests seeking privacy.
Prices depend on the type of stay, a single room with a double bed can cost from $300 a night. While suites cost almost $900 a night.

Queen Letizia in Cali
After spending a few days in Cartagena, the queen headed to Cali, the last city of her cooperation tour.
In this region, she plans to participate in several events, including a visit to the Ecomún-CECOESPE coffee farm and to hear the testimony of the women of the Cali Gardening Workshop School.
