This Monday, May 30, 2022, Queen Letizia returned to her official engagements and did so hand in hand with one of her favorite designers: Felipe Varela.
The queen consort attended with her husband, King Felipe, the lunch at the Royal Palace to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Spain’s accession to NATO. This would be the only event on the Queen’s agenda before her first visit to Mauritania.

Queen Letizia’s dress by Felipe Varela
For the event, which brought together different personalities, the mother of Leonor and Sofia opted for one of the most elegant and sophisticated dresses in her closet. It is a powder pink two-piece garment by the Spanish designer who has dressed her on more than one occasion.
The outfit is composed of a lace skirt a little voluminous with midi length, which she accompanied with a sleeveless top. The first time she wore this garment was in 2018 on Columbus Day.
As a complement she wore a thin belt that highlighted, even more, her figure. At his feet he wore matching pumps. For her accessories she wore simple earrings with diamonds and ochre stone and her inseparable Karen Hallam ring.
A detail of the look that caught the attention was her hairstyle, as the queen usually wears her hair loose with a middle parting and a little wavy at the ends, but this time she opted for something more elaborate. She wore her hair parted to one side and very wavy, which gave her a touch of elegance.
