Queen Letizia accompanied King Felipe on a solidarity visit to Valencia, Spain, where a macabre fire broke out in an apartment building, killing 10 people and injuring dozens.
The King and Queen met with survivors and relatives of the victims, as well as members of the emergency services involved in the firefighting and evacuation efforts.
The Queen was visibly moved by the testimonies of those affected by this fateful event that has shaken the country.
Despite the solemnity and pain of the occasion, the royal consort did not neglect her image and wore a sober and elegant suit, according to protocol.
Queen Letizia’s Hugo Boss suit
The suit worn by the Queen is a pinstriped ensemble consisting of a jacket with shoulder pads and straight-legged trousers, designed by Hugo Boss.
The suit, which was worn for the first time on this visit, has a belt with a buckle that marks her waist.
Queen Letizia already has a similar suit in her wardrobe, designed by Inés Martín Alcaide, which she wore in 2021.
On that occasion, however, she combined it with a sash, while this time she opted for a simpler style.
King Felipe, for his part, wore a navy suit with a black tie as a sign of mourning.
The Queen completed her look with comfortable heeled loafers by Massimo Dutti, which she has worn on other occasions.
She wore her hair down and discreet earrings. As always, she showed that she communicates more with her style than with her words.
