The “Pascua Militar” is a highly anticipated military ceremony in Spain that marks the beginning of the royal agenda for the new year and has a strict dress code.
This 2024, Queen Letizia chose a sober look so as not to distract from her daughter Princess Leonor, who attended the event for the first time.
Queen Letizia’s outfit at the Pascua Militar
In keeping with her role as royal consort, Letizia wore a pearl gray silk blouse with a high neck and long sleeves, a conservative outfit she paired with a simple long black pencil skirt by Bouret.
She also wore her favorite Carolina Herrera wool cape with faux fur trim due to the low temperatures.
The Queen completed her outfit with black low heeled shoes by Pinkchic Gua Gua.
She also carried a Carolina Herrera Astrud model handbag in black leather with gold trim, which she has owned since 2015.
The Queen also didn’t want to add too much sparkle to her outfit, so she opted for subtle vintage-style earrings. They are not new, as she debuted them in May at the confirmation of Infanta Sofia.
Queen Letizia’s choice of sober attire for this event is a clear sign of her intention to let Princess Leonor take center stage.
The 18-year-old attended the ceremony as a cadet of the General Military Academy and performed her first protocol act of the year in front of the Armed Forces and the Civil Guard.
