Queen Letizia of Spain has visited the Cuatro Vientos Air Base (Madrid) to preside over the act with which the Air and Space Army closes the centenary of the first medical aero-evacuation in Spain.
The monarch attended the event dressed in a pink tweed jacket, shirt with a round neck, front patch pockets, and gold buttons that combined with culotte-style pants in white. On her feet she wore nude slingback shoes with gold buckle by Martinelli.
Queen Letizia’s stumble
During her visit to the base, the queen wanted to get on one of the army planes when she had a slip and tripped. Fortunately, she was able to quickly regain her balance and she solved the situation in the best way.
In one of the videos shared in the Spanish media, it can be seen that when she went up she lost her balance a little and quickly put her hand to avoid falling. Despite the moment, the consort continued with her inspection as if nothing, with total naturalness.
