Queen Mary of Denmark and Zara Tindall are setting a chic example for summer fashion, showcasing their impeccable taste with an almost identical choice of attire this week.
Queen of Denmark, 53, and Zara Tindall, 43, niece of King Charles both opted for the same elegant white and green dress, just a day apart.
Queen Mary and Zara Tindall in the ME + EM dress
On July 9, Queen Mary was seen in the Shadow Berry Print Maxi Dress by ME + EM while taking a stroll to Graasten Palace in southern Jutland with her husband, King Frederik.
This walk was part of their tradition, as the Danish monarchy spends their summers at the palace. This summer marked King Frederik’s first reign at Graasten Palace following his mother’s abdication.
For the occasion, Queen Mary paired her new British label dress with a straw hat, drop pearl earrings, and stylish wedges, creating a perfect summer look.
The following day, Zara Tindall appeared at Wimbledon, sporting the same ME + EM dress, which sells for $495 and is currently out of stock online.
Princess Anne’s daughter added her unique touch by pairing the dress with a white blazer, a green clutch, and strappy white and straw shoes for day 10 of the tennis tournament.
Later, in the stands with her husband Mike Tindall, Zara removed the blazer and donned a pair of sunglasses, effortlessly adapting her look for the sunny event.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time Zara wore this lovely dress. She was seen in it back in spring at the Monaco Grand Prix on May 28.
This stylish coincidence between Queen Mary and Zara isn’t an isolated event.
In June 2020, Queen Mary wore Beulah’s Ahana dress in beige, and a year later, in July 2021, Kate Middleton donned the same dress in pink at Wimbledon.
Undoubtedly, another example of the connection between Danish and British royalty through fashion.
