After successfully completing their first summer cruise as kings, touring the east coast of Denmark, Frederik and Mary decided to accompany their great friend, Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott, for her 50th birthday celebration.
The party took place at the majestic Gavnø Castle, and Mary, as expected, was one of the most elegant guests, dazzling in a new cherry-toned ensemble from the renowned Erdem brand and new heeled sandals from Aquazzura.
Queen Mary at Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott’s 50th Birthday
Mary once again showed off her impeccable fashion sense with a two-piece ensemble by Erdem, standing out for its originality.
The top, made from a translucent, sleeveless fabric, featured a bow at the front of the neck. Although it was originally meant to tie in front, Mary opted for a bold twist, wearing the blouse inside out and letting the bow fall elegantly down to her legs.
The matching skirt was a pencil cut, midi length and made of cotton.
To complement her look, Mary chose elegant heeled sandals from Italian brand Aquazzura.
These sandals, known as “Tequila,” are adorned with clear crystals and their laser-cut straps add a sophisticated touch to the ensemble.
Although the queen usually prefers high heels, on this occasion she opted for a more modest height of 8.5 centimeters, a subtle but noticeable change that allowed her to maintain her usual elegance.
The look was finished off with select jewelry: long earrings and two bracelets, one in white gold by Ole Lynggaard and the other tennis-style by Dulong Fine Jewelry.
Undoubtedly, Mary of Denmark achieved an impeccable style to celebrate the birthday of her dear friend.
