Queen Mary of Denmark has once again surprised with her unparalleled fashion sense during her recent trip through Danish lands aboard the royal yacht Dannebrog.

Together with her husband, King Frederik, they have fulfilled the traditional summer tour that Danish monarchs make annually to visit various regions of the country.

On this occasion, their first stop was in the municipality of Bornholm, where the royal couple was received with great enthusiasm.

What really caught everyone’s attention was Queen Mary’s innovative styling.

In a gesture that defies convention, the queen wore a headdress paired with pants, a choice that, while unusual, demonstrated her ability to blend tradition with modernity.

For this visit, Mary opted for a nautical look composed of elegant navy palazzo pants and a white blouse by Paul and Joe.

The key piece of her outfit was a long tweed vest, with white and navy blue stripes and gold maxi-buttons, which added a fresh and contemporary touch.

The headdress she chose, a creation by British designer Jane Taylor, had already been worn for the first time in May during her state visit to Sweden, but on that occasion she combined it with a dress.

This time, by wearing it with pants, Mary reaffirmed that headdresses need not be reserved only for more formal attire such as skirts or dresses, breaking with traditional expectations.

The headpiece, made of organza, featured a delicate bow at the back, adding a touch of elegance to her ensemble.

To complete her look, the Queen stepped into blue high-heeled Jimmy Choo pumps and adorned her outfit with several pieces of jewelry: yellow gold hoop earrings with diamonds by Sophie Brillie, a tennis bracelet and a yellow gold bracelet by Dulong, along with a ring by Rebekka Notkin.
