Over the years, Maxima of the Netherlands has developed a unique and personal style that has led her to become a fashion icon.
Although in the past she has not always been at the top of the best dressed royals lists, in recent months she has surprised everyone with looks that have caught everyone’s attention.
This Thursday, the queen once again dazzled during an official event in the small town of Zevenbergschen Hoek, wearing a summery ensemble that combined white pants, a pink top and an eye-catching costume jewelry necklace.
Even Josine Droogendijk, author of the blog ‘Mode Koningin Maxima’, highlighted this transformation. “In June, the queen presented us with one success after another. In my opinion, it was her best month ever,” she said.
Perhaps this change is due to the addition of a stylist, as with other royals, as Maxima has continued to impress with her fashion choices.
During her visit to Zevenbergschen Hoek, a village with just 1,600 inhabitants in the province of North Brabant, Maxima had the opportunity to learn how they strive to maintain the quality of life and attractiveness of the place despite an aging population and reduced facilities.
The queen visited local stores and a small nursing home, demonstrating her interest in the smaller communities.
Queen Maxima’s Style at Zevenbergschen Hoek
For the occasion, Maxima chose a fresh and easy-to-replicate look. She wore white palazzo-style pants, combined with a pink top with short sleeves and round neckline.
Although both garments are quite basic and accessible in any clothing store, Maxima managed to elevate her style with the right accessories.
The shoes of choice were nude-colored patent leather Salvatore Ferragamo pumps with a bow on the front and 8.5-centimeter wide heel, which she has worn on multiple occasions since she debuted them in April 2018.
She completed her look with a nude clutch, a shawl and a camel suede jacket with bangs.
When it came to jewelry, Maxima did not disappoint. She opted for a costume jewelry necklace with pink crystals and flowers in the central area, accompanied by matching earrings, a costume jewelry ring, a diamond bracelet, a red and white thread bracelet with the Greek eye and her black strap watch.
This event marks the end of Queen Maxima’s official engagements before her summer vacation.
