At the Royal Cultural Palace in Amman on Wednesday, Queen Rania of Jordan honored the winners of the 2023-2024 Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education (QRAEE).
This event celebrated the significant contributions these educators have made to the field of education in Jordan.

As the chairperson of the QRAEE Board of Trustees, Queen Rania personally presented trophies and certificates to the award recipients.
This year’s awards included the 18th edition of the Distinguished Teacher Award, the eighth edition of the Distinguished Principal Award, the fourth edition of the Excellence-Supporting Directorate Awards, and the inaugural Distinguished Kindergarten Award, as reported by her office.
This year, the awards saw over 6,000 applicants from the local public education sector.
Alongside the main winners, the event also recognized 10 teachers and five principals at the national level, as well as 16 teachers and four principals at the directorate level, with certificates of appreciation.
The ceremony drew an audience of about 1,800 educators, including representatives from every educational directorate, members of the QRAEE board of directors, partner organizations, supporters from both the private and public sectors, media professionals, and members of the evaluation committee.
In addition to monetary awards, recipients were offered various non-monetary incentives, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, private sector institutions, academic bodies, and media organizations.

Queen Rania attended the event in a stunning new dress by Aje, known as the ‘Radiance’ midi dress in ivory, accessorized with a belt.
She complemented the outfit with beige leather and patent leather shoes by Malone Souliers, a top handle bag by Elena Ghisellini, and her Classic SL283 sunglasses in Havana by Saint Laurent.
